NRM’s Elma Kapel Challa Elected Northern Youth MP
NRM candidate Elma Kapel Challa has been elected Northern Uganda Youth Member of Parliament after securing a decisive victory in a three-candidate race.

NRM candidate Elma Kapel Challa has been elected as the Northern Uganda Youth Member of Parliament following elections held on a three-candidate ticket.

Challa emerged winner after polling 1,245 votes, defeating Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) candidate Elizabeth Shakira Wacha, who came second with 343 votes, and Democratic Party (DP) candidate Elizabeth Amolo, who finished third with eight votes.

Challa replaces Boniface Okot.
